Portsea
One of my goals for the summer was to visit Portsea, a cozy little seaside town about a two hour drive from Melbourne. We've had a lot of rain this summer...

Leeuwin-Naturaliste National, Caves!
We spent most of our time in the south west region of Western Australia around Busselton, where the race was held.

Kangaroo Island...
If you ever come to Australia, or you live here now, please visit this island......take your camping gear, bring some warm clothes and enjoy one of the most amazing places....

Sydney, Australia!
We had a really fantastic time in Sydney a few weekends back with Darryl, Stacey and the kids. It was great to catch up with them...

Sydney, with the family...
I went with mom and Aunt Linda to Sydney for the day, we flew up in the morning spent the day and then flew back to Melbourne that evening.... Tiger Airways = cheap tickets.....

The Nobbies - Phillip Island ...
We headed to the Nobbies on our last morning on Phillip Island. It was really windy and cold! It was the only day that we got a little bit of rain, but even then it was just spitting....

Koala Conservation Centre - Phillip Island...
The Koala Conservation Centre was very quiet and peaceful. The koalas were a bit tricky to spot but made for a fun game of looking! There are also snakes and wallabies that live there too, not many but a few here and there...

Phillip Island Wildlife Park...
We've been to lots of zoos and animal sanctuaries since moving to Australia but Phillip Island Wildlife Park is by far my most favorite yet. It was 60 acres of animals roaming free ...

Grampians National Park ...
Like previously posted, our camping trip at the Grampians National Park was cut short due to Steve getting sick, but the time that we did spend there was really impressive and quite fun ...
